I'm considering going back to work with the NC DOT as well. I'ma need my CDL for that anyway.

Didn't read every post, but one company comes to mind....Western Express....they used to very good about "dicey" backgrounds.

Thank you for that. Does anyone know anything about Melton Truck Lines? Just curious?

Melton hires new cdl grads, but doesn't have their own cdl school.

Hmmmm. I believe the recruiter told me that they did have a school. She said that I would have to fill out an application to find out whether I can go or not.

Guess that's new then. Fill out the app and see what happens.
PI&I Motor Express hires felons; they're flatbed and Teamsters Union benefits.

Will do. Just slow it down on giving me companies to apply for. Each individual application takes time. Too many companies to think about and I may forget something on the application .Which won't be good.

    Lepton1 Thanks this.

Well, I got about ten or eleven applications in so far. I'm gonna go ahead and get a copy of my complete MVR from the NC DMV and send it along with my future applications and send it to the companies that I have apllapp with so far.

@Chinatown Carolina Logistics looks appealing to me. However, for their CDL school, there is a $500 upfront deposit. I can't afford that. I'm having to borrow the money for the MVR record from my aunt and she live on a fixed income.
