Swift - Input Requested from Current / Recent Past Drivers

Its been about 4 days or so. Had truck exchange and some corrections had to be made on replacement truck. I have gone to customer lot and walked full terminal. Spoke with yard. Spoke with service. And trying to communicate with weekend dispatch has been no help. Usually no answer.

Not but a few hours ago I was assigned an expired load. Loaded trailer. But because it was expired times. I asked for realistic time changes. I sent in macro. A few hours passed. No replies. Just few words stating load was removed. I'm used to this. I just want others to know I'm not the only one. It's unfortunate these antics. Aside from what I've mentioned. Not sure what else to do. But keep documenting. Most comments are aimed at me. And as you can see I'm mature enough to take it.

Tomorrow starts all of our weekday teams. We'll see if I'm put on the road or not. Last two weekends have been exactly like this. Zero communication and no recourse for a driver but to take it. And so I do.

Thank you you for your comments. It doesn't matter what a few feel regarding 'outted'. It matters how a company acts and reacts to it. And your able to watch along with many others. Nothing fair about this. This is going to be a long and winding road for myself and those applying pressure on me.

it is what it is. And each thing I post. They seem to just change their approach. So I just keep documenting. Some have asked. "Why not quit?" My answer is. Because it isn't only me this is or has happened to is my opinion. If I walk away because of the shame I've caused for them. They will simply follow. Second that with I want this to never happen to anyone EVER again. It's very traumatic and embarrassing. I haven't even shared the best evidence. I need to hold onto some things. Thank you for those few that stepped up. Not saying I have absolute hole in one. But it's absolutely enough to pursue legally. In which I haven't even mentioned. Because I felt this would be done far more professionally and not be airing stolen documents. I have things to think about. I will say great extents were taken to separate company from actions taken with multiple companies. And some rental records and purchase records go a long way.


Access to my Email, financial, investments and social sites have been or currently compromised within the last four months. Uncertain in all details yet. Apparently email has been invaded yet again. I am waiting to meet with my phone carrier for their report. Ive asked for print out. For some reason it took a while. They won't tell me on the phone. Not comfortable doing it here. So maybe next week sometime. I'm just reacting in quiet for months. I'm just airing the recent issues. Sickening. I'm not saying all of these are a slam dunk. Or even collectively. But I'll assure you it will raise the curiosity of any jury. Do I think anything will stop? No.

Im in not going to shine a light on any individual accounts again. Merely stating I am aware. As well as some posts leaking my information. Many were removed in anticipation of this I believe. I've given every opportunity for this to proceed professionally and ethically. Whomever those people are. Those following this thread can attest.

My $1,000 offer still stands. Read earlier post for more on that. Unbelievable is all I'll share at this time.

Monday. The day I was looking forward to. Approximately 62 hours without an empty. No replies to anything yet still sent on Friday and Saturday. Some even more often.


I received expired load late last night. Asked for time adjustments so that I wasn't late. No reply to requests. No reply to macro.


Was directed last night back to the same customer yard I've been waiting in an empty from all weekend. I drive back there as I had already done multiple times to no avail.


Surprisingly they had one for me. I went through the whole wait in line thing. No biggie. Just was excited to finally get rolling.


Finally given paperwork for empty. Did inspection on trailer.


I hooked up. Did tandem slide to 40' am in Cali. I remember thinking it was odd for it not to already be set there. It wouldn't go to legally required slide lock. Upon further inspection. A block bar was installed by someone. I took pictures and video. There is no way trailer was legal in Cali with block bar in place.


The wiring harness cables had recently been serviced and new clamps and coil springs installed. By law the wires must clear the ground by 18". Even though newly serviced brand new springs. They hung about 5" from the ground. I took pictures and video.


ABS was locked on. Wouldn't go off. Inspected rear axles a little closer and both oil drain plugs were hanging open. I stuck my finger in each hole and they were bone dry. I took video and pictures. It's apparent trailer had been tampered with.


I sent in my question of how this trailer appeared in Cali with three issues. Two being serious to DOT.


No reply. Of course.


However, within about 10 minutes. I received a call from a neighboring terminal only 20 minutes away. I was informed by caller 'Mike'. That it was ridiculous I had not been given a loaded trailer load. Because they were backed up with trips.


After explaining to 'Mike' my dismay at how such a trailer with no oil in reservoirs and tandem block installed. Managed to make it to this Cali customer. He said he had no idea. Fair enough.


Mike gave me a new load. Already loaded trailer in which had been ready since last Thursdat or Friday. Ok. Fair enough. Thank you Mike.


Hooked up to the load and headed out. Noticed my QC arrow bouncing around periodically and my commands were interrupted and delayed. On it's own it managed to highlight the word STOP.


Assuming the QC likes me being stopped. See pic below. Did it all by itself.


So. Now I've asked my DM for paid for mechanical issues down time. Assigned under load and no replies to communications. Three requests unanswered.


I'm headed down the road with a load. For that I am thankful. Not to the assistance of anyone. Until 'Mike' called me out of the blue after I told them I'd videoed yet another trailer assignment that was unsafe in current condition. As well as illegal.


Stay tuned. Seems nothing has changed. I didn't expect it to. The people upset are too concerned with what they've gotten themselves mixed up in. And they should worry. Much of it was illegal.

My phone drops from 4 or 5 bars down to two anytime I'm on this forum. Or sometimes 404 errors. But it's been a few days since any of those. Just loss of more than 50% of my connection is the most common. Just a mention. I'll learn more later this week. I hope.

 

I commented on that a few posts earlier. Wish it was that easy. Don't want this to happen to anyone else

Driven a few hours headed out of Cali. Gorgeous areas in places. Seems perhaps my past posts have maybe they have pulled in their reigns or clipped their wings. Not certain. Nothing really significant. Followed by a few vehicles. But do you blame them? I'd refer to this as my California exit blitz. They understand. But I haven't smiled and laughed so hard in a while. Thank you for that.


Ill ill update more later. Nothing really significant. Nice to see them pulling back. Do I think it will stop? No. Thanks at least for a day of smiles. Making lemonade out of lemons. Today tasted good!

Nothing really to report. Pretty easy day. Really enjoying the west. Got to see some Vegas hotels I haven't been in in years. Always a smile.

Headed to Colorado. Not spent much time there in last several months. Also beautiful in areas.

Tuesday started out light for the first hour. In Nevada little activity. Now in Swifts home state Arizona. I see it's similar to California. In some ways. They've spent a few dimes here and there. Got some months to go. I've taken mainly the quiet patient approach unlike others.

Still interested in phone report. Hopefully this week.

I've managed to take a few photos. Nothing substantial. Have two plans with those. Probably not what they are thinking.

Still unfortunate. But nothing I'm not used to daily.

Ill update ate more later. Thanks for checking back. Today is very beautiful. Thankful to be on a 1000 mile trip. Headed East to discuss outting from stolen and aired files.

No no respond to any if those requests. About five days I think. I'll have to check.

Not much to document today. Same stuff different day. Took a few pics. Drove through Nv and Az and now on Co.

I noticed some strength in Cali and Az. Something merely to note with my previous in Va. Got to watch a drug felony stop??

Five troopers at any stop draws the curious.

Aside from typical day. Took a few pics of nature. Just beautiful.

Ran pretty hard almost 600 miles. Ran HOS until 22 minutes remain. Had to stop at a rest area with only vending. Had a very nice gentleman in an RV hook me up two hotdogs. Thank you Rick. It was a pleasure to meet you sir. Another reason to travel blah. To meet people. Rare such an occasion for me. Because of situation.

Doesnt make it right. But tolerable for today and yesterday. A lot of money has been spent. Still unfortunate. Stay tuned for the next several weeks / months.
