Swift Intermodal or Dedicated in Phoenix

wasnt really directed at you, but in this case no its not...its the company. im not a swift driver, and never have been. if they indeed still pay hhg miles thats theft of 10% of the money they agreed to pay each driver, period. their new policies requiring on duty time at shippers.receivers and 30 min for pretrips amount to theft of service, unless its compensated time. and they stole money from 9000 drivers when they provided schooling inadequate enough for the school to be raided by the fbi and dot, and the licenses of 9000 drivers were suspended. did they return any money due to their inadequate training, get the drivers right back in to be retrained at no charge, as wouldve been the morally correct thing to do? well, since the class action lawsuit still goes on, i think the answer is no, they preferred to go the crooked thieves route.

 

i drive for swift and its not a bad company but the things that were said in this post are true. they are robbing us by not paying us all of our miles. and they do want you to spend way more time on line 4. #### shame

 

I run Walmart dedicated out of harrisonville, MO. I make about 58-60 grand a year and home every other night plus my 34 I make great money considering my wife makes another 30 grand a year and I’m only 24! Who else at 24 do you know making 90 grand a year with their spouse???? Swift has treated me great over the last 3 years and I’ll likely stay with them till retirement.

 

Glad it's working for you and as long as it working stay with them.

But, always be on the look out for other opportunities and be prepared to move on. Things change and the only thing that is constant is change.

Swift has to rebid that account every other year, if not every year. They may not win it or they may have to change your compensation plan to keep it … be prepared.
