Nana and Oldnew are correct. No more work well test and swift changed the time out with mentor to hours not days. The last 2 weeks in training pays about $500 a week, IF you are available for runs the entire week.

I'm not certain of the answer to that question but I'd be very surprised if Swift could penalize you for early pay-off. One question though, why pay it off out of your own pocket? If you stay with Swift for 26 months the 0% loan is not only paid off, it's been paid off by Swift. As I understand it (and keep in mind that I haven't had any repayments come out of my check yet), an academy grad has $75/week debited from their pay. This continues for 52 weeks, i.e., 52 weeks x $75 per week equals $3900. At the same time the $75 is being debited, $37.50 is being credited every week so, at the end of 104 weeks, the entire $3900 is zeroed out!

If I took a notion to leave Swift before the first year is up and I still had a balance due on my loan, I'd negotiate with whichever carrier I was looking to go with to pay off the loan as part of my employment package. Just a thought. Might be far-fetched but that is what I'd do. :biggrin_25514::biggrin_25514:

The only thing that resembled "work well" when I was there was walking from the classroom aaaaaallllllllll the way to the clinic for the physical. It was a rigorous journey of about 50' but I made it!:biggrin_25525:

Can you clean your pm's out, please? :biggrin_25523:

Now I have to type it up all over again. Tsk, tsk, tsk.

    But because it's you, I will. :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_25525:

We sent our brief out in the mail today, so the ALJ and Counsel will be receiving it tomorrow. Need some prayers until the Judge makes his decision in another 45 days.

Tom and I will talk to you later, after we watch "Avatar". It looks like I'll be taking a two hour and thirty minute nap. The movie is two hours and forty-five minutes long. :biggrin_25518:

Sonny, you take care and stay safe out there.

Wouldn't they just stop deducting the tuition repayment from your paychecks if you were to pay it back early? A quick bit of math shows that $3900 over 26 months is $150/mo. Quite a bit of money.

Eh, I'd just work my ### off to repay the money I'd rightfully owe ASAP and not try to play any games about it. (Seems like it would be very nice of them to teach me to drive and get me my CDL with no money up front, then give me a job after that)

    But that's just me.
