Both companies run "new" tractors. They only run them around 3-4 years or 500-600 thousand miles. Trailers are a crap shoot with any company, especially the big ones. I would wager that Swift has at least 100,000 trailers in service. Impossible to keep up proper maintenance bon a fleet of trailers that big. Either company will give you a good opportunity to break into this business. 90% of it is up to you. Good luck

Knight owns Barr Nunn too...get a year and change of experience in and you can switch to them as well. Way higher pay, especially if you get hazmat.
