Do I need to explain how bad our O/O pay is?
Intothesunset and Milkman719 Thank this. -
By the mile.
If you want to make terrible $
If you want to lose everything you have and work a whole lot doing it then lease purchase is for you.Intothesunset, Midnightrider909 and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
Seriously. Swift L/P is the absolute worst route to go. We're talking 1 dollar and some pocket lint per mile, bad. If you wanna L/P, do it elsewhere
-
Seriously, if you don't know how to work the numbers, stay a company driver.
Until Knight screwed it up, Swift was one of the better programs.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
You know they stick one of those stupid cameras in your truck if you L/P from Swift? Even if the pay were serviceable (it's not), that alone is reason enough for me to say #### no. I'll buy a truck outright from the dealership and sign on with Landstar if I choose to go O/O, because I refuse to be treated like a glorified company driver in that fashionIntothesunset and Milkman719 Thank this.

Depends on the account, Swift does have some percentage accounts. Or at least did. Don't know if Knight did away with them.

Swift never put cameras in the O/O trucks ... And the O/O's that got treated like company drivers were the ones that acted like company drivers.
Like said, the program was pretty decent, until Knight took it over. It's really not Swift anymore, it's now Knight using Swift's name.Cat sdp Thanks this. -
And our terminals, and our [rant continues elsewhere]
