Some people seem to think that anything they offer should be taken without a second thought.
Like THEY are doing YOU a big favor just to hire you, no matter the conditions they wish to impose.
If more people refused crap offers they might just up the benefits of working there.

I really wish I had his direct line just so I could occasionally call him up and tell him that I'm still not interested.

How many drivers are waiting loads in Vegas area? Lol
-
I don't know, but I'm waiting for a load in Aurora, OR. Several other Swift trucks here at the TA as well.
Knowing the planners, they will wait until the last minute to send the pplan when it could have been sent yesterday. -

But speaking of waiting until the last minute...
The pplan I was just sent, at 2240, has a pick up of 1700 today.
To be fair, it is a t-called load out of the Troutdale terminal.
A mac-22 was sent just after I accepted it because I won't be up at 0200 to make a 0730 delivery in Toledo, OR tomorrow morning.
The load has all day to deliver, so... I set my own times with this one. I'll deliver at 1200.
I even told my daughter this morning that we would probably get a load out of Toledo, OR. That seems to be the trend around here, which is fine with me. -
Deliver to Toledo and get a load out of Toledo to California.
-
Yup, it's going to Rancho Cucamonga, CA.
It does not pick up until tonight at 2100, so I'll be picking it up in the morning.
Delivers Wednesday at noon, so enough time for a 34 in the meantime.
And that will give me a 2,900 mile week, so a nice paycheck.
