No need to calc leap years separately, just do one calc at 365.25 days per year over year.

Equals .6 parts of a year @bigguns, lol.
Thanks for doing the leg work, Friday. You said you were lazy... I guess I'm manipulative? ;)

An inherent flaw... but the best we've got, considering math near flawless and the other systems people create, not nearly so (like the calendar).

    Friday Thanks this.

^^^^^ Nawh man, they had me "confused" from HELLO~! Your formula seemed good to me, man!

ps: Try helping your 6th grader with COMMON CORE math.. I have to "unlearn" the traditional way, and "relearn" the CC way......talk about HEADACHES.!

Never heard of common core math, sometimes I have enough problems with the old type, the parts I hardly ever use (some geometry and the like) become ever harder to remember over time.

I will say, I was dumbfounded a few years back when my girlfriend's youngest started high school. She got a list of things needed broken down by class, for math class it said.... calculator. :banghead:

Oh I can't wait. They'll be sent right to their mother. Luckily my youngest is still working on colors and shapes and my oldest is figuring out how to tell time. I can handle most of that. 6th grade, I'm screwed.

And your paper was a slab of stone with a chisel and hammer, just like Fred Flintstone?
