One of my instructors said SWIFT=Sure Wish I Finished Training. Although I also like "Sure We're Insured For That!"
I'm sure nobody would argue the fact that six months is not very much time behind the wheel. And yes, everyone would like to learn from an old pro. But if six months experience isn't enough time to learn enough to show somebody else how to drive, can six weeks be enough to let a person solo ?
Just out of curiosity, has anyone had, or know someone who has had a mentor with 6mos driving experience?
Two buddies of mine from Swift school are mentors now and they both started mentoring after 1 year OTR. I'm sure the money is much better but I love having a truck all to myself.
