Do guys think we will get in trouble if we post pictures of the bubble board that they usually have on display at the terminals?? I think this would help alot of us out when choosing freight.
-
Probably a bad idea to post that ... besides everyone knows or should know how to get that info. Also once you establish a relationship with your agent, they also have that info. It's not real time - a daily snapshot. But it gets down to local level of specificity that the bubble board doesn't.ladiesman304 Thanks this.
-
You SURE about that??
I had been an O/O about 2 years when I was invited to join.
Just saying.7seriestv Thanks this. -
What is the bubble board?
-
It's a real time graphic that shows the truck to load ratio in each planning area. Red bubbles for too many trucks, green bubbles for excess loads. It's in every terminal and your DM and planners can view it.
Keeping yourself in the green bubbles or least the smaller red bubbles, is single most important thing you can do to keep yourself running - more important than weight, more important than length of haul, more important than live load and more important than the empty miles. -
It would be good if I could utilized that system, I'm always getting sent to an area then after I deliver to hear we don't have anything coming out if their, why send me their in the first place send a company truck they don't have the overhead I do.
-
