Well, Prime does all refrigerated freight and has APU's installed on their trucks. As Swift mainly does Dry Freight and doesn't have APU's. I have many friends who did the Swift training program in Millington,TN and they loved it. Also with Prime you will be stuck in a lightweight truck.
Swift or Prime for training?

Millington for training and Detroit for orientation I believe.

Are you talking about the one in New Boston, down the frontage road from that little fuel center with the truck parking? Used to be a real PiTA because those idiots in the dispatch office would make you wait forever and a day in the fuel lane before they'd open the gate to let you in?
Got sick of that place. When you're one of the seemingly handful of flatbedders who can legally cross into Canada, you have a tendency to get stuck on a loop between the Swift terminal (New Boston, Detroit, wherever the hell it is) and the Blue Bird Bus Company in Brantford, Ontario. That gets old, quick. -
Prime I live in Phoenix and im Still going to Prime and not Swift to many bad Post about Swift and people I no around here that I have talked to Swift no way.

Well here I am in Millington for Swift. Just got to the motel (which is terrible) a little bit ago. Still unsure about it but I'm going to make the best of it and try to have fun. If I do pass and get my CDL and they treat me like crap I can always go somewhere else. The recruiter already lied to me on several issues according to someone I know who went through it a few months go. So we'll see how it pans out. I'll def keep updating as the days go by.
