Swift oreintation@denver

What should I expect at orientation? Is the drug test hair? And what is the physical all about, I ask cuz over the past year I have had a few surgeries and pain killers are a big no in the truck driving world I no hair test go back a long time and I dont want that to interfere with my chances of getting a job with swift and also dont want a bad u.a on my record

 

from my understanding as you have proof of you having to take this pain killers back then and not taking them now you should be alright. when I went to orientation it was just a pee test.

 

I am due to start orientation on the 29th for swift any thing I need to no that could prevent me from getting through and getting the job

 

They will piss test you and have you fill out paper work listen and do it like they say and be careful about telling things about your past a few people didnt make it because they smoked pot years ago but you should do fine good luck

 

I have not posted in a while but here it goes I started at denver Jan. of 2012 and now I,m still there swift is like most companies lots of do as I say crap but it,s ok I went solo last march and then in may I got be become a local driver so I am now working around denver cheyenne larime pueblo grand junction for the most part they will send a local driver as far as they can so you can get back I enjoy it I work mondat - friday about 10-12 hours a day I do miss the otr stuff alot so if I can answer anything for anyone let me know have a great day and a wonderful weekend and be safe

 

Hello everyone another update from yes me as you know I went local quickly but the kicker now is I took the mentor class and I do the simulator class in Denver so I drive a lot less but I get to meet a lot more people that work for swift so have a great night be safe out there
