Rug, the students stay at the admirality on hwy 51 in Millington, so you will be in a different place and probably won't have more than 1 other roommate, if that, and probably won't be the rooms with kitchens. All my roommates snored, LOL.
After you get your drivers code you go to a kiosk in any terminal and go to the payroll section to update your info. Then you enter the bank info and tell it to put whatever percentage you want in your accouont. You can put in multiple accounts or on you comdata card. The first check will probably go on you comdata, so make sure your mentor teachs you how to make out a comcheck so you can get all your pay at once and not have to pay the comdata fees.
Thanks Bill. Trying to get the recruiter to give any info wasn't happening. You think she would be all giddy seeing $$$ signs because I was stil wanting to go? Don't they get paid commission?
I've seen the comdata card mentioned a lot in the forums....what exactly is it? Is it a "debit" style card Swift provides? Thanks
Not sure. I told a friend how cheap FlyingJ was selling fuel. He said they didn't take Comcheck. I guess they got in a tiff with Comdata at one time.
Comdata is used to get fuel. When you are approved for fuel it is accepted at the place you are told to fuel. You can get pay advances on you comdata. You can also get a company advance for things you need for truck. Your pay can go on your comdata card and then you use it at an atm. There is a charge for this. Without your comdata card you really can't do much on the road.
