I've lost from 434 to 365 and I'm not going back to Swift until I hit under 300. I have been told BMI is going to be an issue with all trucking companies in 2011. I'm doing this for me, but it won't hurt when I get back in the truck for sure. I was able to do all the work required of me at my bigger weight, but I did it MUCH slower than most. LOL

Anyone know if Swift considers a burned out turn signal filament ticket a "moving violation"?

I was looking at the new regs for 2012 but didn't see what the acceptable BMI is. Does anyone know off hand?

I beleive one can assume Swift and most companies can and do request a DAC report. These companies didn't get as big as they are but by handing out invites to orientation and then weeding out applicants fromt that point.
While I have no doubt they expect there may be some "washout's" recruiters can't stay recruiters if they are allowed to throw throw everything in the mix and see what comes out.

Swift does indeed request a DAC report. They get it through Hireright. they requested and received mine before I was even invited to orientation. There were some fair few who washed out during orientation in Syracuse on the 6th. mostly for medical reasons, and "creative application procedures". out of 29 or so that started on the 6th only 12 of us were left at the end. Take that how you will, but my best advise would be to C.Y.A. take care of any past indiscretions, and have documentation for EVERYTHING
