I took the work well test at another co. and the hard part was the 3 reps with added weights 3times from bench to shelf equal to the top of my head 9 times.had torn rotator cuff 10 years ago and felt it tearing again,so quit test. You want to try and limber up a little before test.I just decided they wanted lumpers more than experienced drivers.Seems to be a trend nowadays.
Actually, since you were asking about the Work Well Physical... don't worry about it because they aren't doing it anymore. They stopped over a month ago, and I couldn't really give you a reason why.
swift does CHECK THIS SITE..... SWIFT OFFICE PERSONNEL AND IF YOU ARE NOT ANONYMUS THEY WILL KNOW WHAT YOU SAID!!!!! JUST AN FYI FOR YA NEWBEES..
from what i have seen on the road i was under the impression that all you need to work for swift was all your limbs.
I took the physical last year. I passed ok. I wore a back brace because it's the smart thing to do for anyone lifting that kind of weight. If you're out of work because you lifted 75lbs and hurt your back then it's not good for Swift or any other employer. It's smart for them to let you wear a back brace. My two cents worth.
Hmm, interesting... I wonder what would happen if you were injured while doing it? Hehe, perhaps that is why they stopped.
It really bums me out that they stopped the work well. I had to work HARD to get where I could do all that. *grumbles and shakes my fist*
