Yes. But I have always been perplexed by that saying - in any way of saying it. It may be fun for one party, but not too often by both.
Before you spend all your first year's income... get through your training period. Turnover in this industry is near 100%. What we're seeing here very well may be examples of why that is so... the expectations... How are you going to handle that first blinding snowstorm? How about that 230am delivery? How about that delivery appointment that got messed up somewhere between the broker and you, so you show up an hour late and can't get another appointment until the day after tomorrow? I'm not trying to be the wet rag here, but man... seriously, one step at a time.
But, if you will notice, the wording actually suggests that it is the truck that does the spanking. I would not like being spanked by my vehicle.
