Doesn’t pay to overly complicate things. All I need is 3yrs verifiable experience and a clean recent abstract to get them past the insurance company, doesn't matter when the experience was. For the Feds I just need a Social Insurance Number so the keeps me out of tax jail fairy can set up their payroll. It might be too easy to put someone in a truck and send them on their way here.

 

That’s where the big difference is. If I licence up a truck to operate in the US I’d have a lot more compliance paperwork and twice the insurance cost on that truck than the others.

 

Many companies will look at HireRight as well. The problem is that not all jobs use that service. My guess is if they can't are that in your history by looking there first, that's when they want the tax forms.

 

I deny everything! I am innocent! I swear! LoL but in all seriousness its not a bad webpage and is a decent way to meet smaller operations. Though as always with any smaller ma and pa sized op, buyer beware should apply.

I'm not sure Swift is really known as a 2nd chance company. I've seen many people report being denied by Swift due to background, MVR, or other employment issues. Western Express is a 2nd chance company.
