I don't drive for Swift but I do for SNI and they are the same as far as "double-clutching" goes. When your suppose to push the clutch in that inch durring movement from gear to nuetral, just fake it. Just move your leg muscle, they cant see your foot, unless of course they stand up and actually look, but I doubt anyone would do that.
Good luck

Just have your Mentor show you how to clutch properly, and you will be a pro at it in no time at all. if you have mastered floating, double clutching should be easy for ya.PHP: -
i didnt have to double clutch, I clutched out of gear and floated into the next, which is basicly how i drive. it was just a ride around the block with another mentor. All he was watching for was to make sure I was safe in my actions.

If I said what my road test consisted of no one would believe it....so I'll just say I could have passed it with my eyes closed.

That's a good thing all that mean's is the transmission is broke in. I bet no one knows when you miss a gear either. lol -

True or not, I can't say.FalseMirage Thanks this. -
Academy and the actual Swift test are probably 2 different things.
My road test in TN was tough. One thing we had to do was a gear recovery. Mine was accidental but smooth!
I went to TN Tech in Nashville.
My bad habit was turning of my signal before finishing a lane change. I didn't want to over heat the blinker fluid.FalseMirage Thanks this.
