    Not the same out fit.


    Look at Swift's website. Nothing about car hauling mentioned. There is a "swiftautoshippers" but the website doesn't load.

    Swift pulls a lot of containers. They have been doing that up there for a while.

    When I worked for them, back in 06 they were expanding the intermodal fleet..

    Let's go off of their FMCSA company snapshot profile.

    Power units: 18,677
    A total of 2,054 accidents in the 24 months prior to 7/17/08
    My calculator says that's about 11%

    Now, I'll pick a fairly reputable company. How's Crete sound?

    Power units: 5,403
    Total accidents: 464
    That's 8.5%

    I'll try my own, just for kicks and giggles.

    Power units: 1,913
    Total accidents: 126
    That's 6.6%

    How about Wal-Mart?
    Power units: 6,891
    Total accidents: 410
    That's 5.95%

    How about J B Hunt?
    Power units: 11,874
    Total accidents: 1113
    That's 9.4%
