I dealt with an ahole last night when getting fuel, was behind a truck for over 10minutes never seeing someone about, the fuel island next to me got opened so I backed up a little and swung in there, as im getting out I see a guy poking his head out of the sleeper going through stuff then another guy coming up and getting in, I filled up and the 2 were still sitting there, I pulled forward to run in and get a drink, pee and stuff, come out and they are still sitting there chatting and eating like aholes. I almost went up to their window and yelled at them since every island was full and people were waiting. Some drivers are no considerate at all, I use the fuel islands to make quick stops for the restroom and a drink but I pull forward and dont take too long inside so im back in the truck and leaving before the guy behind me finishes getting his fuel.
I dont like this break thing, its just another reason to eat at the 14 and drivers are just going to do what they would of been doing anyway....sitting in the truck getting more tired....
I dont agree with the 34 resets either, my last reset I sat in a driver lounge and my hot truck trying to sleep, the 34's dont "rest me" im better just to keep going. If they really wanted to make a difference then making drivers take a day or 2 at HOME to rest would be different.
