You learned. We all can look back at a point in time like that. Made a trucker out of you that day !

I'm going to elaborate here because I don't want this taken the wrong way. The backup GPS normally has different directions. Sometimes better, sometimes not. If you have any bad feeling, or aren't sure, pull over, turn on those flashers. Expand your maps and look that way. Then get out, and hoof it a bit. If you feel safe, try it. If you don't, reroute. Also, if you realize you don't feel safe and there is no way out, call the company. They would rather call someone to help you out every once in a while than call someone to tow your messed up truck.

Good point... but I don't research each OP's previous posts to see their views or what they may be contradicting themselves with in their statements.

I assume with your post that the OP has asked for help in the past and others have been less than kind. That is wrong and WE as a seasoned group should strive to help those that have the decency to ask of us for our advice since we've been down that road.

    Shame on us.

I haven't seen those because I didn't research the OP. I'll take your word for it.

Without that knowledge , what he did was wrong , and correctable even at a late venture before things got as bad as they did.

Don't even try to hide it from potential employers; honesty isn't always the best policy, but in this case it is. Don't worry, many companies will hire you.

I have a buddy that actually crashed and still kept his job. I don't think you are being 100% with what happened

Mistakes happen, clearly, but we'd probably be ridiculing a 30 year veteran also if he was blaming the company he works for

I've had an old lady beat my fender with a broom before!

Delivering LTL furniture drops in the Chicago suburbs... and old mom n Pop store stuck in the middle of a light residential section. You had to pull up and drivers side back into the alley beside the store. WELL... simple enough , except the residents all park through there and a telephone pole hinders your ability to cut the corner properly.

As soon as a truck pulls up , Granny is out the door with her broom , and if you even get close to the curb (not even hopped into her yard... that I would understand) she starts a whacking!!

I just stopped and laughed at her. Told her when I hit her grass , she could hit ME... not the truck. That didn't erase the snarl from her face.
