lol, she has read some of these posts. She is great. Over the weekend, at some point during a drunken Friday night, the subject came up and we agreed to be exclusive. So now she has moved up into "girlfriend" status. She is doing well. :)

Wedding was a great time. I don't remember most of Friday night after the Fireball shots but I"m finding things out now that I have no recollection of. There was an incident of a curse-filled conversation in an elevator with my cousin's little boy (my girlfriend allegedly was describing the poor Jersey weather infused with some spicy language), there was an incident where we were both in the bathroom at the same time making phone calls to her friends. No memory of any of those incidents. I messaged my riding acquaintance down in Texas stating that I was having a good time with my family and girlfriend, completely out of context of the conversation.

I may be moving the departure date forward for my trip. I found out that there is a motorcycle rally in the Copper Canyon down in Chihuahua Mexico on October 3-5. There will be group led tours, sway and overall Mexican motorcycle debauchery. So I'm debating moving my departure date for my trip forward to the end of September. I'm considering it.

The only issue is that I would only have time to get to Washington once, on my next home time in about 3 weeks, and then back out to Virginia to get my stuff together and leave.

I have to talk to my DM about taking that leave of absence. I'm thinking with Swift's new pay raises and driver incentives that they shouldn't have a problem with taking me back after a 6-8 week leave of absence. I'm going to run it by him next week and see what he says.

Hey Doc, Have a safe trip down south! Also I go to the DMV in the AM to test, looking at getting on with Schneider.

I do not think that they will have a problem with leave of absence. I was talking to one the other day about my upcoming plans, my retirement, moving to China for 8 months and returning to work part time for 4 months and was told that there will be no problem with that at all. Have a great time.

Leave of absence is no problem at all. They have a big Rehire to Retire Campaign going on right now,. I got an email from someone pretty high up in the organization asking me to come back and lease on with a significant rehire bonus.
