    I stiil dont have CDL permit,i fuond the nearest swift school in Richmond,VA
    Just 500 miles,not to bad....

    After you finish school you will spend 6 weeks with a mentor. The 1st 4 weeks are $450 a week, the next 2 weeks are $500. When you get your own truck the pay is:

    .25 a mile to start
    .29 a mile after 4 months
    .32 a mile after 6 months
    .33 a mile after 9 months
    .34 a mile after 1 year

    How much you wilol make a year depends on howany miles you drive.

    What better to start-fill apliccation form or talk to the company on phone?
    What documents must be sent to them later? I am in U.S. only 3 years and need experience of working in 5y.And college I learned in my country, not USA.This may be a problem.

    You driving or taking bus? Flatbroke should be finishing up his traing around the time we are there. Maybe we'll see him to. If you are driving what are you going to do with your car if you go with a trainer right away? Recruiter asked if I would need a bus ticket and I didn't want to leave my pu at the terminal for six weeks if I went out right away.

    He just called me back and said i cant go this week because something to do with the paper work on his end...my mvr report witch I have no tickets or acciedents....but he said the following week i should be all set hes gonna call me next week.....Im only 45 minutes from the terminal so gonna drive back and forth the last day either get drop off or leave my truck there and have somebody pick it up.....I cant win.......lol

    They did that to me to. Told me one day I could go then the next day said not yet. I live almost 300 miles so my truck would be stuck there for who knows how long.
