Get back on the horse. Don't let swift sour your mouth for driving. Get back in the game, their are other companies needing drivers. I agree you won't make the same mistake twice.
SWIFT terminated me for accident while training. Advice needed.

You still have to go thru weeks of training with a company.Swift isn't the only starter company that doesn't care who trains.
-
I requested my DAC report this morning, so I guess I won't know anything till I see it. -
Be a month or so but even if its not on your dac doesn't mean it won't be.Could be months before swift puts anything on your dac.But you can pretty much bet they'll put something.A preventable and terminated is a double whammy. So unless you're willing to fight this, thats what will be on your DAC.
-
Swift feels you're at fault otherwise they wouldn't have fired you,so they will be putting something on your DAC.

All they are going to put on his dac is that he tore up equipment which he did. When he fills out an application just tell them the nature of the accident. He can go into detail if they call him to orientation.
pattyj Thanks this. -
The accident was my fault, it was my decision to keep driving. I will accept the consequences for that decision.
