Swift training school any one out here been there.

If you are relying entirely on your recruiters information, you need to read my thread, LOL.

 

Trust me, I have been in trucking a long time and have never heard anything good about any company training. The training is good but you will be broke, hungry, and away from home. GET YOUR TRAINING AT HOME! Go to a good school near your home, then sign on with Swift. Most companies will reimburse you for your school. It is a far, far better deal my friend.

 

How many hours each day do you train.

 

Hours are 0600 to 1630. Bus will pick up everyone between 0500 and 0530. I think a certain number hours of training is required, so if for some reason you end up short one day, you will make it up another day.
For example, on the first day, the bus ran out of fuel on the way to the terminal. We were late getting to class, so we stayed late that day.

 

Now that's a no-no.... buses are supposed to avoid fueling while passengers are on board.

 

the swift school is usually about 3 weeks or 18 days.... if you just go for a mentor, it may be for a week... not 2 days if you have some exp
