Wow this is a good valid point

I went to their school & I must say you do waaaaay more backing than you do driving. You had like 12 10 hour days of nothing but backing then like 2 days of drive time.

At least at the Salt Lake City, Utah terminal

These perverts, weirdos, queers, alcoholics, and misfits they hire in the safety dept. of these trucking co's. probably sit in their offices with the lights out, watching screens of live drivers, while they (the safety guys) are doing who knows what under their desks.
Think about what kind of person wants to work in safety.
They probably couldn't make it as a trucker, couldn't qualify to be a cop and got tired of hanging at gay bars. -
If you go with reefer when you upgrade, demand to have West Valley City as your home terminal. I just finished 6 months with Swift out of the Rochelle, IL terminal. I can assure you that WVC drivers get preference when it comes to loads. Reefer loads are all dispatched out of WVC.FerrissWheel and Thull Thank this. -
Thanks a lot! My mentor said the same thing. He is going to upgrade me at the west valley city terminal. I went through the the CDL training program there as well

The people working in safety are concerned with safety. I doubt many of them want to be a driver.
It is not security or law enforcement, it is company safety issues.
Just what is your problem with that?FerrissWheel and KriegHund Thank this. -
Good luck...

I can assure you, you are correct. WVC has some of the best planners if you are a red headed step child or based out of WVC. (My job title still says Central) lazy I guess.Thull Thanks this.
