They have 3rd party monitoring company as do other trucking companies. The 3rd party monitor notifies the company about things they think they should know about; things they see or hear.

Most of thier schools are like that. However I've always heard good things about WVC training.Thull Thanks this.

If the camera / audio are connected wifi, I'd make a little faraday cage lined with a dense foam or even some dynomat material. Just throwing it out there.

You are better off to quit the company and go elsewhere.
Tampering with company equipment is a serious offense. -
Use a sonic gun. A good one is about $39.00 and about the size of a cell phone. Mount it to point near the listening device. The snooper will only hear a loud screech that can destroy their earphones. It won't bother you because it faces away from you. Google-sonic guns. Some ships use the big ones on pirates and it causes the pirates to leave their boat and jump into the water because it gives them such an instant migraine headache.KriegHund Thanks this.

It's not tampering it's no different than placing a hat over it. Think of it as a cozy.

That's what Millis said, but once you've been there with a camera in your truck for a month you quickly realize that it ALSO allows them to tune in and watch and listen live for as long as they want.
Whenever the exclamation point light is on, they are either recording or watching live. Eventually they'll probably get rid of the exclamation point light so we won't know when they're watchin. -
I would be very impressed with Swift if the cameras were used in exactly the way they tell us they will be used.
Especially knowing what that camera can be capable of.
And it would very much surprise me for any large company to tell the whole truth concerning most matters.
Although, even the most meager employee isn't always totally honest with their employer either.
There is, has been, and always will be a 'cold war' of sorts between employer and employee.
We each use the tools available to us to gain some kind of advantage for our own personal gain.WisconsinF150 Thanks this.
