Yep, ECT can ignore you and if it is the Central DMs that came over that you are going through, ignoring you - that's on them, not Swift.
Now when I'm ignored ... I call. It is also the time to start sending subtly sarcastic QC messages ... Things like, I need to get out from under this load and get more miles, my cat has run out of kibbles and you will be responsible for it's death if I can't afford to feed it.
Make your message stand out, give someone at the other end a laugh, it might increase your odds.
One thing that you and others keep bringing up is not wanting to break your contract. Am I missing something? Swift and even CRE, don't have a binding contract that keeps you at the company. The only thing you are obligated to do is to pay it back. You can leave any time you want.
Swift transition is making me crazy

So true, ECT can be such a pain. I am so glad that I do not have to go through them any more.
-
If you leave before you're finished paying the tuition back they'll charge you for the whole thing instead of half or some #### and put a hold on your DAC, blah blah blah.
You can quit, they'll just make it a pain in the rear for you to get another trucking job... which is why you get one before you turn in the keys.tangerineGT Thanks this. -
I am going to go out on a limb here and take a hazard guess that even with the merger, Swift is going to still let Central run some of the operations the way that they have been doing in the past. Right now just trying to get every one on the same page and working within a same system. I would venture to say that you might have a question that you ask Central that they do not know the answer and have to ask Swift, and then ask Swift a question and it still falls under Central.

My wife and I got one scan cover sheet and made copies and we've been using them for 3 weeks now and getting paodewith no problems. We use our trip pak scanner with our computer right on the truck though. Maybe it wouldn't work at an actual Transflo sight?

Tangerine, I hate to say it but you are just wrong. I've been driving for Central for about 7 months so I'm just a rookie myself. But...I'm 44 years old and do have some life experience and going fast is overrated. I lease and can go 65 but I'm almost always at 62 or 63 and I don't feel like less of a man because a cattle hauler or anyone else is passing me. You complain more than anyone on here and eventually I think you may realize you're causing most of your own anguish.
-
Lol. Yea I am causing all my anguish , yup . When I send a message asking for help . ( I secretly call and tell them to ignore it) when I can't get fuel . ( called comdata and said shut off my card )
couldn't pay for scale ( again called comdata to shut off card )
when I spend all my time sitting because they lost all there loads with the change over ( I went into the computer system and deleted them ) when they messed up my check ( my fault ah ain there too I guess )
Because all those problems , I was never aware of what was gonna happen until it was to late.........
Should I keep going ? I have a legit reason to #####.......
Never said I felt like less of a man either .. hell I can still pass a prime truck . Lol -
Ah touche. Even I pass some Prime trucks. lol. I didn't mean to imply that there aren't real issues that are completely out of our hands. I ##### about a lot of the changes and problems as well. I haven't had to deal with the lack of mileage so I guess your frustration level is higher than most. Hope things get better for you soon.

Lady K Thanks this. -
I hope they get better to , I can't take much more .
I didn't mean to come off like a #### , but I think some people have gotten it a little worse . Why ? I don't know.
and every time I have a problem , seems to not matter what it is . I always get the same answer . " I don't know " -
Well I was supposed to be home on the 27th of Feb. Its now the 2nd of March and im still pretty far from home. I kept on getting loads going away from home even though they knew i requested home time 9 days before the 27th and it was approved. I didnt accept these loads stating reason "its not going towards home" Out of the 14 months this is the first time this is happened. Maximum was a day late for scheduled hometime. So this extra week im out, will still get 3 days home. How fun
