You have to check the price against the area you are in ... it varies. Some terminals never seem to be better than the economy, some always are and some are sometimes .... I've seen Denver as much as $.54 cheaper than the Pilot. I've seen also higher. Phoenix never seems to be a deal ... Fontana/Mira Loma tend to always be cheaper. Lathrop can go either way, but it's never more than a few cents lower than Joes and can be much higher than the Pilot.

It probably has more to do with when they get a fuel shipment in, because that determines their price.
If a terminal bought the fuel when the price was high, it will cost more.
I'm no help to them, even (or especially) as a company driver.
I seldom fuel at a terminal because I get no points or shower credits.
Price doesn't concern me.
Now, if they could arrange something with Pilot or TA to transfer points and shower credits when fueling at a terminal...
But until that happens I'll bypass the terminal and get out of town before calling for fuel.tangerineGT Thanks this. -
Yup , I do the same thing .
Last time I rolled right on by the terminal , called in a few hrs later and said , hey I tried to find the swift terminal on my fuel route , but I had to of missed the exit , so can you open my card for somewhere else ( already had the code)
they said sure get the comdata code , yup already got it . Lol
easy peasy, I like to get a shower every day so I needs my points
-
Ah the days of just stopping at a major truck stop and getting fuel wherever you want. I miss those days with central. But I guess getting the Comdata station code and calling isn't too bad of a deal. Atleast then you're not technically fueling out of route.tangerineGT Thanks this.

Reefer side... Our truck and trailer still say Central

Uhhh ohhhh , dam it I never got to do that dam test ..
ya know if we have to do these , there should be a way we can do it on the Qualcomm .
you go into some terminals and the qiosks are down or just having issues , but oh no dont be late on your load . What the hell . Lol
I guess its a good thing I am 20 miles away from SLC , lets see if I can go there and get it done I guess .
I better not get stuck in there !!!!!!!!! Or I am gonna be pissed
