I like working for Swift but I don't like the hometime policy. I signed on with you being able to take 4 days off at a time and suddenly it became 2 or clean out your truck with it being put back on the line for assignment. It's part of why we changed fleets.
I don't care who wants to tell me I should "suck it up" that's one policy I think stinks.

Since I don't drive for Swift... I don't know what their hometime is. But Ms. Nana, if it makes you feel better.... I'm at home right now & have no intentions of driving a big truck again until 11/1/2010! And in just a few days there will also be a Swift truck in my driveway. I'm planning on it being here for 4 days. In fact, it will be here for 4 days unless to driver's decides it is time to get moving!
JustSonny Thanks this. -
I'm so glad for y'all. *smiles big*
However, it's Swift's policy. On a good fleet, with a good DM you can get around it but it is the company policy. -

I don't wish I'd said it. I adore Redd but that's just bogus. I take responsibility for all of my actions but the fact is that Swift changed the policy, it's a rotten policy and I get to say that I don't like that particular policy.

SWIFT is not the the bad to work for if you save up some money delivering pizzas B/4
you start to work for them. -
Texas-Nana Thanks this.
