Dude, you are asking way too many questions about this topic in too many threads. Either you want to be a truck driver or a drug user. PERIOD. You will not make it as both. You will get caught. I for one dont want you driving for my company. You get into an accident and fatality is involved, you test positive. The company can be sued and depending on size may be put out of business. Any accident with injury involving a commericial vehicle, regardless of fault, you as the driver of the CV by law will be tested. All companies prehire test. Some drivers never get random. Some drivers will have multiple in a row. One failed test or refusal to test and you are done my friend. It will be documented. You need to grow up and step into reality!!!!!!!!!!

Is Joey a Swift recruiter? I'm asking because I drove for Swift for a little over 6 months but have been away from driving for about 4 years now. I'd like to go back to it too and sure hope that I won't have to take a refresher course. I'm hoping that I can go with a mentor for a couple of weeks and get my own truck as soon as possible. Thanks!!

4 years away means you are considered having no experience. Academy, full 240 hours...
-
They will take you if you do a 160 hour refresher course.

Well ... A recruiter in Phoenix told me that I could spend a couple of weeks with a mentor and get my own truck. That's why I was looking hard at going back to work for Swift again. That and the fact that I was not treated badly by them before. I've read some negatives but in general, I didn't have a bad experience. Hope that she wasn't "blowin' smoke"! Anybody else that has an opinion, I'll appreciate hearing from you. Thanks

You didn't have a bad experience before but you're concerned with having a bad experience now? Why did you leave in the first place?
