On Thursday a Swift recruiter told me I’d need to go with a trainer for three months. I have had a CDL A for 4 years. I drove class A for 6 months and then moved to a local class B job. Then the recruiter told me I’d have to drive 48 refrigerated for six more months before I could move to the Dedicated route out of Boise.
Of course the recruiter refused to put anything in writing before I signed on. So sketchy.MartinFromBC Thanks this. -
That seems like a lot. -

MartinFromBC Thanks this.

Which is weird, because it is still driving experience. -
You can try for their submarine division
Savvy00, Phoenix Heavy Haul, MartinFromBC and 5 others Thank this. -
At Schneider you only go out for a week
MartinFromBC, Concorde, Speed_Drums and 1 other person Thank this. -
You can train together in the same truck at the same time. Trucks are setup up for 3 people; the trainer and you and the wife.
Get all the endorsements, this is important.
Hazmat endorsement is important; might get a load of paint, etc.
