So I just repeated day 6.

Went to DPS with my new class, the size of my new class is 12. I was thrown first in line because I was already in the system pluse I was one of two Texas residents in the class. So i take my tests.

Texas Permit ............. wait for it.............PASS
    General Knowlage ..................................PASS
    Air Breaks ............................................PASS
    Combination .........................................PASS
    Pre-Trip ...............................................PASS

I went in first and came out first with my Texas Class A Permit. :occasion5:

Tomorrow all but 3 guys start on the range.

I remember I only had to double clutch during CDL school and for the DMV road test (as the State of California requires you to do so at that time). After I passed the road test and was issued my California Class A CDL, my wife and I went out for our 4 weeks of training with the trainer and one of the first things he taught us, within the first few days or so that we were with him, was how to float the gears. Since then I have always floated-I have'nt double clutched at all since I got my CDL.

Most if not all cellphones should get the accurate time, and adjust for daylight savings, both automatically, and regardless of whether you have active cell service on that phone or not, as they are all supposed to receive the atomic time signal by radio (after all, that's essentially what a cellphone is, basically just a glorified RF radio transceiver that just happens to interface with the telephone exchanges). I know my wife's and my iPhone and my other phone both do.

Boy, I know what you mean. Sometimes you wind up getting a roommate that you can't get along with at all for some reason. I'm glad you have someone you like and can get along with to room with though. So far, I've been fortunate that way-all the companies I ever worked for, my wife and I both hired on with at the same time as a husband-and-wife team, so instead of splitting us off into separate rooms and finding roommates for each of us, they all just automatically put her and I up in the same room together. I guess they figured it was easier and/or more convenient for them that way. Whatever the reason, it worked out very well for us, because we generally get along pretty darn good anyway, and to be perfectly honest with you, neither her nor I have any real interest in rooming with anyone but each other-we just feel more comfortable being in the same environment together (not to be antisocial or anything, but let's face it-after having known each other for 11 years and married for 10, we pretty much know and "feed off of" each other anyway. Solves a lot of problems).
