    Schneider actually started out as union. When I drove for them in 1993, there was Schneider National, which was the regular joes, and Schneider Transport, Al Schneiders babies that were Teamster out of Green Bay. They couldnt fire them, so they created a division, and just didnt hire any drivers for it.

    Since no union exist for Swift drivers, yes it is. Though I believe the question was regarding the possible forming of one. Which in this case, makes it not an oxymoron.

    Wouldn't that be considered a "double oxymoron"? After all Swift has governed rigs and "union" refers to a "group cooperative"!:biggrin_25523:

    INJUN, sorry if you are offended, no-one told you to read this thread; I simply asked 'what is the history of union formation activity for Swift'. Being 3 weeks new is irrelevant
