Completed orientation last Tuesday. Took everything home with me and got a couple of bags packed.
Called the mentor rep. to see if they have found someone yet.
Got called last Thursday and was told there still looking for someone.

Well it's now Thursday and nothing so far. I've call them up and left a few messages.
Not sure what's going on at that end, maybe there just short handed atm. on mentors.

I really don't want to be calling them up every day and leaving messages, I don't want to end up annoying them.

Got a question for anyone that knows how swifts driver mentoring works.
Do they typically try to find someone that is in the same area where the trainie is?

Anyone have any idea's or suggestions that might help me out.
I really want to get my 200 hrs going.

Trainers are in short supply at most companies. I would keep calling every 2 or 3 days to check in and ask about a trainer. Keep it polite & happy. Don't recount everything. If they want you stop calling they will say so.

you might have to wait for another student, to pass his test with HIS mentor, then that student WILL BE your mentor.....

Oh ok cool..so wife or fiance or whatever..even tho you had them as a passenger or are your wife/fiance.. you can still train them? Only double checking..bcuz i heard ypu couldnt cause they are of relation of some sort and think youll let em off easy...and does that rule still apply to now? Aug 2019..or i should say sep really..alot of times..they say thats old and doesnt apply...

It was ok a back 4 yrs ago when I was there. She was a rider for about a year before we checked on it. Might have changed since Knight took over. Why don't you just give them a call?

    Trucker327 Thanks this.
