I've run surge out of both Los Lunas, NM & Grandview, WA. Grandview tried repeatedly to get me to pull a reefer but I never did. I also refused anything going to OR because of the OR road tax (which O/Os have to pay). I suspect they were glad to see me go! On a side note: When I was @ Grandview I asked at least 2 of the O/Os running out of there what they were making and they never told me. I found out later I was making more as an 05 division O/O that they were. I can safely say that my days running Walmart surge are all behind me.
Well, there are always new drivers that don't know any better to take those loads. Walmart and Target are my two favorites to turn down.
Walmart & Target are among my favorite loads to deliver....to a DC. I too have sworn off delivering to either brand's stores.
Do the Walmart DC accounts have anything different going on in regards to Covid-19? Are you still standing on the docks collecting stickers? Have any extra hoops to jump through to make deliveries?
I have received 5 text messgages from SWIFT within the last two weeks for their WM account in Brundidge,AL. The ad reads home daily & the average weekly pay is $1400.00. Can someone give me an update on this account? Can i get by with a P.O Box address without having to buy a house. I live about 150 miles fom this DC.
I think you are supposed to live closer than that. Not 100% sure, but it seems like you do, like 100 miles max.
