Never driven either of the three. I would probably take USExpress. But yes, you will go through training with any of them. You should look forward to 1 week orientation and maybe 6 weeks out on the road with a trainer. good luck to ya!

Because when freight is down here the percentage of freight that is avail to all Co.'s is smaller (in amount) , Werner will already be getting a bigger piece of the pie because they would take possesion of the cargo before it is sent over, they will have already accepted responsibility on the other Continents for the transport so when it arrives in the U.S.A. it's theirs already thus leaving less freight for other companies to give their drivers:yes2557:. More freight = more miles = mo money

Interesting theory. Doesn't matter how much freight there is when your sitting in area and there are 50 other werner drivers that were empty before you. Alot of times there is tons of freight going into an area, with not much headed out.

    Happy Birthday young man.

I have not worked for any of the three. Personally, I would try to broaden my choices but if I had a choice, (shudders) I would pick Swift.

Would go with Swift. I personally have always saw paperless logs as a HUGE detractor when it comes to who I work for. Not a plus in anyway shape form of fashion imo. Knocks you out of at least 10-15% pay off the bat that way. But to each their own I reckon.

Ocean freight is sent in containers:Freight container:. Having terminals overseas may be good for Werner as far as having a logistics component flow of revenue $$$, but until they start hauling containers it doesn't do you the driver much good.:dontknow:

Yeah but theirs mexico and canada right now, and even though most of the time they won't require U.S. drivers to enter either they still need to be brought to a terminal by the border for another drop and hook, at least they seem to be trying to move in a positive direction to create more revenue. They could be like the other big Co.s and just put drivers through school (drivers not needed) to keep collecting money because you dropped out of contract,:biggrin_25512: I mean i'm not saying their perfect or nothing but every company has issues and if you've ever ran a business and had to hire and depend on 15 people or more you know how difficult it is to find people that won't muck up the operation your trying to build. Most of all problems will arise due to employee mismanagement and what is commonly referred to as Rogue employees.......these are employees who regardless of what your trying to do, their not going to do it the way you as a company would like to operate because THEY KNOW BETTER.:biggrin_2552:

Would you prefer a red, blue or white truck? That's pretty much what it boils down to when selecting a starter company like these three...:yes2557:

After weeks of research on several companies, non are in my top 3 but to rank these 3 I would say US Xpress, Werner, then Swift.

I wish you luck in your decision. Let us know what you decide and how it goes. :biggrin_25511:
