If someone made a Gilbert Gottfried voice pack for my gps units, I would totally use it. It'd be hilarious.
ac120 and Rubber_Duck Thank this. -
Or Larry the cable guy. That'd be fun.

For one, I know you dont, and for two, I can show you handfull of drivers who truck all their life, who dont follow this stupid rule, and dont get tickets or accidents. You know what else they dont do? They also dont cut across 4 lanes in the span of about 150 feet to avoid being forced on to the wrong freeway because they werent looking ahead and paying attention, almost taking out a pickup truck they they did not see because they didnt bother to check their mirrors. Yes those drivers dont do that. They also dont cut in front of me when Im wide open doing 75 through Arizona, and they decide that their super truck wants to travel at its governed 62, instead of 60 like the guy in front of him. These are just things that I notice driver. I havent done this much longer than you have, but you sound silly even quoting that rule trying to sound like you know what you are takling about. How about this, next time you see this, get on the radio and tell that owner op what you think of his driving, then tell him how long you have been doing this, and see what he tells you. -
When someone calls Swift safety about tailgating, something is always done about it. People don't call and complain about a Swifty (or anybody) travelling at a 2 to 4 second distance. But look around you and honestly observe who is eight feet off someone's bumper at 70mph.
If you are a half mile behind me and I pull out to pass a slower truck, that is hardly cutting you off. It's your job to watch in front of you as much as it's the passer's job to clear the lane before getting into it. Too bad you have to slack off it for a few minutes. That said, I have seen many governed trucks pop out from behind someone else without clearing the lane first. You have a legitimate gripe. But it's not just Swifties doing it. Not that this excuses them. It's stupid no matter what name is on the wagon.kajidono Thanks this.
