Meh, I disagree. I also own a means of facilitating bathroom emergencies, but on a clear day when traffic moves fine and I'm not stuck or trapped someplace without access to a bathroom, I will wait to use facilities as long as I can. There is no excuse for not pulling off and using a toilet like a civilized human being. Seriously. I would never accept doodling on down the road and having my trainer just drop a dump in the sleeper because he doesn't want to stop. That's is just nasty.

Let us know if you feel like a civilized human after year 1 or 2. Some of you don't know how blessed you are to have a trainer who teaches you the in's and out's of the porta/disposable potty techniques. I didn't have one either. I had to learn through trial and error. There's no feeling like ruining a pair of pants and underwear, because you played the I think I can I think I can with your colon or bladder.

Taking a dump in a sleeper like a locked-up abandoned stray dog doesn't teach the ins and outs of anything. If you have other options and still choose to be a pig, that has nothing to do with trucking. I'm not running a truck with somebody that acts like that.

First off you assume he had other options. Have you ever been a team driver? Have you ever driven through Wyoming? Have you ever ate Mc Donalds late at night when they are about to close and figure the burger you just ate probably been sitting in the little warmer thing for 3 hours. Your stomach start bubbling. You are in the sleeper tossing and turning. You can either get out and cop a squat on the side of the road and hope no rattle snake think your hemorrhoids are a delicacy. Or you can grab the trash can and let the good times roll. Because ready or not here it comes. :)

    What would you call this?
Did you make an agreement with Swift, crappy company as they may be, for that CDL? Why would you lie? Could it be because you are attempting to defraud your employer? You're dirty, son.

    Oh, PLEASE!!!

There are truck stops and rest areas every 20-30 miles or so.
How can you get so hard up in that amount of time that you can't hold it for a few more minutes?

There is a thing called 'trip planning'.
    That includes toilet breaks.

L84AD8 and Criminey Jade Thank this.

Nope you never been to Wyoming or Arizona or out in West texas. I wonder if the truckers on this forum get all there miles from playing that 18 Wheeler game or during that truck driving mission on grand theft auto, because there is no way these are real truck drivers. I wonder why there are so many Truck parking area's and they say no facilities. Hmmm I gota say I never heard of it being done by rolling and having a student in the truck. So I'm sure that gets him nominated for the super trucker hall of fame. He really had to go. I also never heard of the trash can being used. I think I'll invest in one for those hershey squirt moments. :)

In 3 years, running all 48, I've never had a problem timing my poop breaks.

I guess I've just been lucky.
Or, maybe, I use my brain a bit more.
