Wait....retired drivers from the 70's and 80's? Assuming they retired at 65, that means they're pushing 100 years old!
How did you find them? Or am I just reading too much into this?
Now that I think about it....current SWFT drivers from the 80's or current drivers from the 80's? Can't imagine 4 decades of indentured servitude to Swift.

I'm sure Swift has million milers, as do the other bottom feeders.

FLHT, OldeSkool and navypoppop Thank this.

There’s guys that will work 30 or more years at a factory doing the same repetitive thing over and over for the simple fact that they don’t ever feel like going somewhere else or doing anything else. I’m sure trucking companies get some of those kind too.

document they did refusal to say when asked. that alone puts them in legal disadvantage. ultimately they will have to demonstrate a valid business reason for the termination.
if not the this would violate civil codes section on injuries.

or file for unemployment which may force the narrative to become more clear.

If it's in a right to work state it doesn't matter. As long as it doesn't violate any federal law, they can say they didn't like the way he parted his hair and there is nothing he can do about it. Right to work means he is free to leave as he pleases. That same right is pretty much extended to employers in regards to terminating employees.
