this comes from a VERY angry wife of a hard working truck driver on a dedicated run...his boss runs the #### outta him gives his loads he KNOWS he could not legally do he is NEVER home (and we are in little rock arkansas) that probally gives alot away but i cannot go beat up his boss...although i want to! we have a 4 month old who does not know his father because he is trying to be a good employee but i am so tired of dedicated runs lies...how do you lie to your driver and give him false hope??? BTW i do go with him on occasion and i went a week before thanksgiving I personally ended up missing my childs first thanksgiving because they made him stay out...i could not even get home to my child...i have a few choice words i would like to say to his boss and punch him in the face

*scratches my head* Your husband is on a dedicated fleet with dedicated runs but they don't know when the runs will get back?

I'm confused because that's not how our dedicated fleet works at all.

True so very true! And yet now I can parallel park that truck like a dream.

Wifey y'all need to talk about what you both want. Ask him if he wants that baby on the truck 24/7 Oh wait Swift won't allow that.

Swift isn't looking for any drivers in TN right now. I dropped an app last week. No call. I knew that before I applied. They might dump your hubby for not keeping his wife in line.

Running legal is his decision. If he gets caught he will get hammered and fined not Swift.

Time to change jobs, or tell his his boss, "I can't do it legal. Let's call safety. If they say go ahead? I'll do it!"

A DM/FM will all most always tell you to do you job, no matter if it is legal or not.. In the end it is your responsibility, if you do run illegal.. They will simply say, that they did not tell you do drive illegal.. In this business you need a backbone, when it comes to standing up to your DM/FM.. If your safety department is any good, they will care..
