SWIFT

I worked for swift for 8 years for the most point you do your job you can make money they have regional and otr accounts that if you get on pays well i did otr for them regional and local.Don't get me wrong they have there issues if they didn't i would still be there. I work for an LTL carrier now but i still talk to a lot of drivers from swift all companys have there issues it is just figuring out what issues you want to deal with(no freight, bad trucks) way out your choices

I am posting in here to ask some questions to some of the ladies that drive for Swift. I am attending AIT in Phoenix start in July 4 weeks To be done Aug 11.
1. Are there female trainers?
2. Do you think they will send me home for like a month to wait for one?
3. Are any of you trainers?
4. Do you like training?
5.If you don't live within 100 miles of the ops center can you take your truck home? I live really close to the interstate like 12 miles away
6. Do you do regional or OTR?
7.What was the biggest obstacle you had to overcome being a female driver?

This thread is really full of bashing , but i realize that there are so many trucks and drivers that work or have worked for Swift it is to be expected. Some people can never be pleased. I would really like to get some insight for you ladies out there. I have already applied through my school and just wanting some solid information.
