Swift

When you go to thier website now it is hard to find. maybe they don't want it to be seen

 

Hey guys, I've been lurking around for a while and based on my circumstances and what I've read I decided to go with Swift. I contacted them a couple weeks ago and just got the call today that I have a school date. I will be going to San Antonio at the end of the month. Any information you have on SA would be appreciated.

I'm hearing that my man! 45 years here (my entire life) and I've also about had the chits of this weather.Are you enjoying our "summer that wasn't" so far this year?

 

HA HA!! Yeah really!! Our high today was 69. Sixty-friggin'-nine on July 18th!!!!! UNreal. What worries me, is that if its this cool in the summer, how will winter be? Winters here are brutal anyway....I used to haul mail up to Ripley, NY every night and I can swear it is still snowing today up on I-90!!!

On another note, I am terribly irritated that Swift won't take pets! My ideal job would be where my wife could ride along, take the classes she wants to take (online of course) and our dog can come along too. I guess that dream is becoming more of a stretch considering no one is allowing pets these days!

I am also in this damp and dismal summer here in Massachusetts. Just think what it would be like if we didn't have global warming.

they're contracted with swift and its a rip off 60$hr for 20hrs which is about regular but come on 20 hours I guess thats common with swift and my last class they had a student teaching me the pre trip (engine) (umm this is your radiator make sure its not cracked uhh no dont take my word for it but i think its the radiator) and shes clearly pointing at the alternator so if your in the california I.E and see American Truck Driving School 277-9013 keep on truckin!!!!!!!!

 

I agree with Emton please keep the post coming! Its great to hear from someone in the thick of things with Swift.
