I have a IDC ruler, 2 hats, 2 t-shirts and a log book binder from when I worked at IDC that you can have since you got stiffed on the drivers appreciation stuff.
I guesss I came up in a different era because all I ever care about driving a truck is, How much I am payed, How many miles I get or hours, hometime, and keeping CDL clean. I could really care less about cookouts, who is driving the other trucks, or if they know my name. It is just a job to me. I run my loads and go home.

You should care about who drives the other trucks because it affects the company's score. That's why we were getting 100% pull-ins across CA scales. Too many of our newhires being put out of service. You can keep the trinkets.

I care about my score. Don't sweat what you can't control. If your ducks are in a row, going through a scale is no big deal.

The company is going down hill, the regional set up means less road time and more wasted time being loaded/unloaded or drops and that's just less miles. After a year I'm done. Regional isn't for me and the only drivers going long haul are the o/o's or teams
