Well I made it. I am an employee of Prime Inc. I was able to switch over to flatbed and on my way to TX. Looking forward to my next phase of adventure in Prime Time training program. I'll try and keep everyone posted as I progress.
What part of the cuse do you live in? I am from Liverpool but also from the northside b4 it got to bad.
Wow, how time flies by when your having fun. Been with my fb trainer for 5 wks and driven from Maine to California and back several times now. Carried a lot tubing, A/C units, glass, roof material etc. I am learning as much as I can but still struggle with finding the locations and all the tie-down requirements. GPS likes to lead me down the wrong path but learning to use all my tools to get there avoid the wrong roads and turns. Learning how to protect the tarps and roll straps. Getting more comfortable with night driving. Chicago seems to be the most challenging driving with its tight city streets and backing into the garages. LA is well LA never seen so many crazy four wheelers that seem to just ignore that fact your 75K+ vehicle traveling at 60 mph and they are just 4k tin and fiberglass speed bump. Can't say enough about my trainer who has been very knowledgeable and helpful. Big difference from PSD, is to have the trainer to jump in the bunk and say see you in 11 hours or wake me when we get to our destination. I am starting to get anxious to get back to sprimo and get assigned my own truck but not in that much of hurry because I know I have a lot to still learn.
Sounds good superbee. Every major city is a PITA. With the exception of Indy. Never had a problem goin through Indy on 70. If you think its different being tnt, wait til youre solo with NO ONE in the truck with you lol
Then I will only my F### ups to be blamed for and not both the mine and trainers Naw just looking forward to going solo and having my own truck. Not much of people person so TNT is pushing my limits a little but know the knowledge and experience I am gaining now will help in the end. Plus, my trainer and I live at opposite ends of the country (his in sw and me in the ne) so home time is difficult for both of us. Like said earlier though he is good trainer and reasonable person. No complaints from me.
