yeah that is a nice regional area. Ive chained up two times at Siskious pass on I5 and had snow all the way to Redding Ca that wasn't much fun and i dont know if i could ever go reefer or dryvan..i hate driving on windy days with em'
-
hehe yeah haulin dry van across wyoming and utah i hit hte worst wind in my life but its not too bad.gettin ready for day two right now. hope theres a little excitement to today lol

I was pulling a 53' totally empty, headed for San Diego out of Phoenix. Going through those mountains just about had me ####tin my pants. Every time the ridge would open up...BAM! Doesn't feel cool with full air ride.
Oh...did I mention this was my first week OTR? Fun times -
I used to haul flowers out of bellingham Wa and flower loads arent very heavy and i went to eastern Wa or Id and we would come back emty all the time..i ended my driving shift more tired than strapping or chaining and tarping a flatbed load

I know the feeling. When I got to San Diego we loaded bananas and headed north through downtown L.A. rush hour! Again...my first week driving. And to top that all off...I didn't know how to float gears yet! Fun times.
I had the trainer take over a little while later. My body had gotten so tense it drained me. Power nap time (while rolling, yeah right) -
when i was at swift the truck i was in actually refused to be floated lol. it wouldnt do it to save my life. but day two was a bunch of boring vidoes and tests. really liking this place though everyone seems nice so far and friendly so im really itching to get through orientation because for some reason i am always nervous about getting hired even though i aced the drive test and the physical. just always that thought in the back of my head like what if they dont want me lol
scottied67 Thanks this. -
I think if youre still there after two days , your are pretty much hired..unless you're hiding something

and they have'nt caught it
. seriously, i feel the same way everytime so i know what you mean . you'll b fine
