I'm flying in for orientation today so I will see how it goes from here. I wont be able to post for a hwile so I will let you know how things went when I get back home

 

Does Systems or TWT require you to wear a company shirt or uniform? Also how long does it useually take to upgrade to new or newer trucks? Thanks.

 

No uniforms. Wear your own clothes. They put you in the truck you get for awhile. I assume, if things are like they were when I was there, as newer trucks are delivered, senior drivers get first right of refusal.

 

Do they let you take the trucks home or do you have to leave them at a terminal/ drop yard? Thanks.

 

Acetrkr, How about an update?

I talked to Curtis today and I will be going to orientation either on 01/19 or 01/26. That is the tentative timeframe and looking forward to it.

 

Well oentation went well but thing's were slow after the holidays. I got out of orentation on the 7th and didnet get a dispatch till the 12th so far so good though they are working with me very well I picked up my first load on the 12th and by the 13th I was at the hospital with a kidney stone they sent another driver to pick up my load and as soon as I was able to get back on the road they put me under another load and kept me moving fairly well. so far so good !!!!

 

I start orientation on Monday (1/26) and I am looking forward to it. Got the bags packed and I am ready to go. I will be posting updates throughout training and after.
