System Transport

Any of you guys know anything about the pole division? I'm currently flatbed out of phoenix regional and was thinking about moving to washington and it seems like the pole division might be a good place to transfer.

 

Always heard they get lots of miles. Nice trucks. Go to lots of random places. How do you like the Phoenix regional?

 

You won't be pulling poles 100% of the time from what I'm told mostly pulling what we pull on PHX fleet

 

Wouldn't call it regional we do all 48 at times

 

I reapplied with System and am moving to Tucson so looking to get on that fleet.

I don't know man, the weekends here at System really bum me out. It seems theres no one I can get in contact with on the weekends, I did like 160 miles yesterday, and I've sat almost all day today with no load, is there just no load planners on the weekend or something?

It's just very different from my last two companies. At my last two companies there was always someone to pick up the phone 24/7 so I could atleast know whats going on.

 

He is there till 2 or 3pm on Saturday in Spokane

When did you drop Friday? And If you dropped late Friday you should have been in contact with someone to pre plan you on something. I've never gone without a load on a weekend.

 

I always had a load to run over the weekends.

 

You have to be proactive with your main fleet manager. I never head into the weekend without knowing what's next. On Friday afternoon if I haven't got that pre plan set up I'm sending out messages and calling. That being said it might be different for me because I'm with TWT.
