It def. isn't anything close to the money I made running OTR its easily sometimes almost 800-900 dollars less a paycheck sometimes

Any idea what his situation was just out of curiosity?
-
no I was wondering the same thing but never heard why he came off the run. I have a pretty good idea of who it was. there were only 4 of us on it and I know me and two others are still on it so I think your buddy will be running the extra Canada runs and running the older trailer
-
The only reason I run it is because I like the hometime since I'm home every Saturday and stay on 5. If they stop pay was higher it would be well worth it. but for me I don't wanna run OTR anymore so I stay with it
-
Exactly accurate. He said his trailer is an absolute POS and takes more time to open and close than it does to just tarp the #### load LOL. He also said he has to run up to BC and then over to AB every other week.
-
Yeah there are 4 brand new trailers and that older one. it sucks for him because that trailer was brought on later as a backup since the Canadian run takes awhile to do but sometimes he should have a new trailer under him.
-
He's supposed to get a new one in a month or so, but who knows when it will actually show up.
-
Also, They told him that he will still only be getting home for 3 days every 3 weeks at best. Sounds like a joke to me, but whatever.

Been a busy week, I've crossed the border 4 times this week and finished at home with 2 minutes left on my 70. I've got a load of 60 foot poles on that deliver in Oregon on tueday so I get a few days off to get taxes done. This load worked out great, I picked up in Galloway bc then just drove the 100 miles south to my house to spend some time with the gf and kiddo.
ramblingman Thanks this. -
I can say with solid confidence that they are withholding information from me so I'm unable to trip plan these loads so that i can't turn down these loads and/or demand extra pay until after iIve picked it up and I'm already ######. They know that they are ####### me over and they know if they give me time to trip plan it then I'll know it to.
Brett will do the same thing. Always look at what you have on your 70 before you start the day. If you have hrs coming off the top take those into account. Once you get more experience the dispatchers don't seem to look at your time. I always look at their eta and then tell them when I can have it there. And weekends down happen, I've found that if I look at my paychecks week to week I drive myself insane. Pay attention to your overall for the quarter. Honestly your doing pretty dang good.
Where in Montana are you? I'm in whitefish now but will be coming to Missoula today
