I just got enrolled in the new Benefits Plan. The new plan is a massive improvement over the previous plan IMO. It has no cap in case you get cancer or something and spend millions. It makes regular check ups at the doctor much more affordable as well. It's not costing me anymore than the old plan either. They may have gotten something right here lol.

DOAH, Well i got my outlaw badge today. Stopped in the abandoned weigh station by Seligman,AZ to grab a brief nap. Had been up for 45 hours or so with a couple hours of sleep and back to back overnight runs lol. AZ DOT wakes me up shortly after and tells me i can't park there despite the fact that weigh station hasn't been used in years. I ask why and he asked if i want to pick up all the trash and pee bottles left behind from truck drivers. It's #### sad the class of folks we got out here anymore :/.

SOB gave me a parking ticket and a clean lvl 3 inspection. Didn't even look at my logs. I never even turned the screen on lol. Which is good because he may have considered some of my practices questionable if he was to look too close :p.

Milktanker you oughta throw a dummy QC in your rig. this is my 6th inspection and not one has even had me turn on the screen yet to the QC.

Got 120 miles in the last 3 days and no reload yet sitting a little ways south of Memphis :/. For some reason we seem to have a hell of a time getting off the East coast in the 200 fleet unless we are near PA or FL. Always take some brokered load to get close to Chicago where we can pick up another couple thousand mile run.

Dispatch conveniently missed a tarp pay,OD pay and payroll missed a 1000 mile relay load. Gotta watch those sneaky snakes lol :p. I'm pretty sure it's all squared away now. I can't help, but wonder how much money their getting off the majority of folks out there who don't track their #'s as closely as i do.

New gaming laptop is keeping me pretty entertained though. Almost makes it's obscene cost seem reasonable.

Anyone still reading this or is it time to let this thread die?

Well forget what i said about running a Dummy Qualcomm. I pulled into the Scale in West Memphis with a load of lumber from some hole in the wall place out in the sticks we brokered a load from. The trailer leveling valve wasn't working properly and they showed me as being 6000 lbs over on the trailer front axle. I hit the overinflate valve to get the bags to air up and it corrected the axle overweight situation, but then my Gross was 20 lbs over although he didn't bother me about it(this load is supposed to be 43,000 lbs and i can scale 49,500 on full tanks).

Did a lvl 2 inspection which i passed, but then for the first time in 7 inspections now he had me fax him my logs and apparently found i had violated the 14 hour rule on the 29th by not taking a 10 hour break previously. I'm honestly at a loss for words on that one as i haven't driven one minute while my Qualcomm showed i had negative hours in the last week. The qualcomm print out shows i only took 9h 56m off though.

I'm a couple pounds over gross and I'm at 1/4 of a tank which tells me this is a 50,000 lb load minimum. Going to try to see if there is any other company trucks around here i can give my tarps so i can put some fuel on. Shut down in West Memphis for the night.

When i got to leave after over an hour hanging out at the coop i got a Warning ticket for the previously overweight axle.

    Then the inspection reports
-2 separate violations for the air bags being flat on the 2 trailer axles.
-violation for being over 5000lbs Overweight on one axle trailer axle before correcting it
-Violating the 14 hr rule multiple times

I don't mind them writing me up for a bunch of ########, but I at least want to be having the fun they're saying I'm having if they're going to write me up for it. Getting a log violation when I'm running E-logs in a speed governed truck is a rack of crap though.

I got a bull haulers ticket in a Mega carrier company truck is my biggest heartburn here. I'll be hauling Arse in a non governed truck running paper logs here shortly though :D. I'm talking with a couple guys in the Sioux Falls area right about some work. Probably going to pull a hopper. I'll never have to suffer through another second East of Minnesota or West of Nevada based on what I'm hearing so far from em.

I just found this thread. I'm playing catch up. I work for System on the pole division. Been on that division for 10 years.

Welcome to the party. Shame you didn't get here earlier. I'm on my way out as said above. How are you liking it over on the pole fleet? Milktanker really enjoyed it and i nearly joined, but the micromanaging from Brett and the POS Paccars in the new Pole trucks were a deal breaker for me.

I really like the pole division. Of course, I have an easygoing type of personality and it takes a lot for a dispatcher to make me mad. I really enjoy working with Brett though. Lots of miles and I've never missed any hometime request with him. I don't enjoy the new trucks as much as I did the old cabovers. The one nice thing about the new trucks is the two beds which allowed me to become the trainer for the pole division. That really boosted my pay when that option came along.
